The
kinetic sculpture project is directed at helping
EAST gain more public support and awareness;
to show what EAST and high school students are
capable; and to interest more possible members
in east so that east will have plenty of student,
teacher, and community support.
We
will be doing the community a service by doing
EAST a service because EAST helps the community.
We
will use all of our knowledge from our classes
to complete this project. Art for the looks
of the sculpture, welding for keeping it from
falling apart, P.E. to keep us fit for the race,
science for the technical design, math for price
calculations, and English for this T.I.P.S-C
and for public news letters and public announcements.
We
will be improving our science, math, art skills
and P.E. skills as we progress through the project.
We will also learn how to weld.
